The Facilities

Experience college living on the Indiana University Bloomington campus. IU Bloomington is known as one of the five most beautiful college campuses in the nation. The city of Bloomington is nestled in the rolling hills of southern Indiana with a central location in the heart of the Midwest. Bloomington is the quintessential college town - active, friendly, intellectual, young, relaxed, and safe.

Rowing sessions on the water take place at the newly expanded Dale England Rowing Facility, the practice and competition site for the Indiana Rowing team at Lake Lemon. On campus workouts may take place at the University Gym erg room or in the North End Zone facility.

Lake Lemon is the ideal rowing venue where IU has hosted multiple collegiate regattas in addition to the Big Ten Rowing Championships on their 2000-meter race course.

Resident campers reside in IU’s newest dormitory, Spruce Residence Hall. This air-conditioned facility is situated in the heart of campus.

Bus transportation will be provided to/from the rowing center daily.
