Girls entering high school sophomore to college freshman year. NCAA regulations allow high school graduates to attend camp. All Indiana Rowing camps are open to any and all entrants.

No physical examination is required, but campers should be in good physical condition and able to swim. Each camper must have a completed parental consent form on file with the camp. The form is part of both the camp online registration and this brochure. Current tetanus is required. A trainer will be available to campers each day.

Parents may be assured that all campers receive 24 hour a day supervision. We make every effort to provide a program where campers will have fun while learning. We reserve the right to send any camper home, without a refund, if she does not conduct herself in a manner that will enhance proper and safe learning, good sportsmanship and a willingness to follow directions.

Indiana Rowing Camp is committed to creating a safe environment that provides protection of all children and teens participating in the 2019 Summer Camps. For an appropriate level of supervision, a maximum 12:1 ratio will be maintained. All members of the staff (including coaches, camp counselors and managers) will have passed a legal and thorough background check before being allowed to work at camp in any capacity. All staff will have been properly trained to handle any and all emergency situations. Should a camper suspect any illegal or inappropriate behavior from another camper or staff member, it is asked they immediately report the activity to the Camp Director or a staff member. Indiana Rowing Camp will adhere to the Indiana University Public Safety & Institutional Assurance Policy on Programs Involving Children.

The parent/guardian must provide primary insurance for their camper. The Indiana Rowing Camp provides only secondary accident/medical insurance.

The Indianapolis Airport is located about 50 minutes from Bloomington. Indiana Rowing Camp does not provide transportation to/from the airport. However, we recommend the GO Express Bloomington Shuttle (800) 589-6004, or Classic Touch Limo (800) 319-0082. Take the shuttle to Wilkie Residence Hall drop off – it is a short walk to Read Hall. Please inform us if your child will be arriving via shuttle so we can be sure to meet her.

During camp, campers will be transported from the dorm to the boathouse by bus.

All cancellations must be in writing. They can be emailed to IndianaRowingCamp@gmail.com.
